The Excitement Builds!
I cannot even begin to tell you how totally excited I am for the 30 days to a Handmade Holiday class!
It is going to be so wonderful to get all my gifts made in November and then relax and enjoy every single moment of December. There are over 30 projects in this class, making each project less than $1.00!
I've seen bits and pieces of this class...there is truly something for everyone! To the left is a little peek of my card class. My favorite project I created for the class is a printable address book!!! My Mom's are getting one of those for sure :)
You'll be able to print out every single lesson, even if you can't make the day the lessons will be posted in the classroom, there is an area in the classroom where you will find all the lessons in PDF, so you'll be able print them off!
I'm truly, truly honoured to be a part of this wonderful list of teachers...Wilna Furstenberg, Martha Bonneau, Heather Fuentes, Kayla Aimee Terrell, and Nikki Peterson.
So get started today on your organized and homemade holiday. You'll want to print out the holiday planner that is available right now to get you started! The first lesson will be posted tomorrow at 10 am CT...you will not want to miss it!

A Rose
(Stanzas 1–2),Harriet R. Spaeth, 1875
(Stanzas 3–4), and John C. Mattes, 1914
Lo, how a Rose e’er blooming from tender stem hath sprung,
of Jesse’s lineage coming, as men of old have sung.
It came, a flow’ret bright, amid the cold of winter,
when half-spent was the night.
Isaiah ’twas foretold it, the Rose I have in mind;
With Mary we behold it, the virgin mother kind.
To show God’s love aright, she bore to men a Savior,
when half-spent was the night.
The shepherds heard the story, proclaimed by angels bright,
how Christ, the Lord of glory, was born on earth this night.
To Bethlehem they sped and in the manger found him,
as angel heralds said.
This flow’r, whose fragrance tender with sweetness fills the air,
dispels with glorious splendor the darkness ev’rywhere.
True man, yet very God; from sin and death he saves us
and lightens ev’ry load.
Amen.

Altered Notebook Class
I'm thrilled to announce that I created a class that is up for sale at the ScrapInStyle Boutique! The class is $4.00 and comes with a printable PDF file as well as a 10 minute video to walk you step by step through the project.
I constantly use my notebooks to keep my life in order, LOL, they are great for organizational help, especially around the holidays. So it is perfect to create a very pretty one for inspiration! They also make perfect teacher gifts :) I'll also show you how to create a matching pen for your notebooks...as no notebook is complete without one.

Memory Makers
I was completely honoured to be asked by Memory Makers Magazine to create three layouts for their "It's About Time" column for the November/December issue! The three layouts above were the ones that were used...the theme, "gratitude".
Just to note...
My site address used to be http://www.andreawiebe.com/ and as I was unable to renew the address in time it was purchased by someone else. I just decided to revert back to http://www.ajourneysofar.blogspot.com/ instead.
Have a very wonderful Sunday evening!
